Fundraising Initiative

Dear Alumni,

Since its founding in 1744, our prestigious institution has successfully delivered to the young men and women who have entered its doors, a rich and rigorous interdisciplinary curriculum designed to stimulate intellectual achievement.  In order to continue this tradition that has put generations of St. Jago alumni at the forefront of their professions, your financial support is needed.

After years of underfunding by the Ministry of Education the shortfall is being reflected in academic, arts and sports programs as well as the deterioration of St. Jago’s infrastructure.  In addition to these needs, support is being sought for the welfare or student support program which alleviates hunger among St. Jago students.  The estimated costs to address immediate needs and maintain programs annually are approximately US$777,419 (J$69,408,000) and US$268,508 (J$23,972,400) respectively, for a combined estimated cost of US$1,045,927 (J$93,380,400). Specific program costs under each category are provided in this document.

St. Jago alumni and friends may make contributions at any level and all contributions are greatly appreciated.  We do encourage a minimum annual commitment of US$250.00 (J$22,320.00).  All contributions made to the St. Jago High School Alumni Associations are tax deductible. Your contribution can be designated to support a specific purpose that is important to you, or left unrestricted to be used where the need is greatest.

Contributions can be made in monthly, quarterly or other convenient installments by mailing your checks payable to the St. Jago Past Students’ Association or the St. Jago High School – Development Fund depending on where you reside.  Please see our mailing address and banking information including wire transfer information below.  For additional convenience, we suggest that salary deductions, standing orders, post-dated checks or similar arrangements be considered.  In order for us to accurately track your contributions and acknowledge your benevolence, we ask that you inform us of any arrangements made.  You may contact us by replying to this email or by mail at one of the following addresses:
